If there was the idea to bring a second season, it wouldn’t just be up to Amazon. This seems to be the pattern recently, so why change the mold? Instead of creating a story to continue the characters, it’s best to move on with another Agatha Christie novel. While the series certainly offered a loose adaptation to make Mark Easterbrook’s story the main one instead of him being a bystander, the overall storyline was mostly the same. It’s an adaptation of the book and there isn’t a sequel to it to tell. There’s arguably no need to add a second season to the series.
